The majestic blue Danube—no other river in the world flows through as many countries. And now, I want to personally invite you to join my wife Lori and me on Magical Danube & Prague (Sep. 12-23, 2015), a very special land tour and river cruise chartered exclusively for CTD travelers. By land and by ship, we'll discover four capital cities in five countries, several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and wonderful scenic, cultural, rural and culinary experiences too numerous to count!
Preview: Unique New Tour for 2015
For years, the folks at Nebraska Life magazine have traveled the back roads of their state in search of its fascinating people, vibrant communities, festive food, dynamic history, and intriguing cultures. Now, the travel planners at Country Travel DISCOVERIES are honored to join up with Nebraska Life Editor Chris Amundson and his staff to present a very special Discovery of our 37th state -- all new for 2015!
Similar to our successful partnership with Our Iowa magazine (we visited Iowa 10 times in 2014), we are delighted to join forces with these knowledgable local experts at Nebraska magazine to craft a truly unique, editorially rich tour illuminating the wonders of a state that many travelers have never really explored.
Subscribers to Country Travel DISCOVERIES travel information lists should keep an eye out for our new Head Start for the Holidays Special Offer postcard. It features a special offer on three holiday-themed discoveries coming up quickly in 2014.

- Rose Parade Holiday (Dec. 29, 2014 - Jan. 2, 2015)
Where Will You Get Away to This Winter?
Well, it's official: The 198-year-old Farmer's Almanac predicts that most of the country east of the Rockies will face another nasty winter very much like 2014's -- the winter of tree-cracking snowdumps and polar vortex.

If you can't bear the thought of enduring the "sequel" this winter, we invite you to JOIN US one or more fun and restorative seasonal escapes...

CTD President Opens Special Tour to NYC this October
I’d like to extend a personal invitation on behalf of a couple of friends of mine, Don & Pat Bardonner from Muskego, Wisconsin. Don & Pat have asked Country Travel DISCOVERIES to arrange a 5 day, 4 night tour of New York City for this October 21-26. They’ve arranged this trip for members of their church and, because those members will take up just about half of the motorcoach, are graciously allowing us to open up the remaining 20 spaces to our audience.
The trip is highlighted by visits to two Broadway shows and the World Trade Center Memorial, including the just-opened World Trade Center Museum—a very moving experience. But, there’s much more to this program that make this such a special way to visit the Big Apple...
